My daughters band practices in our garage two to three times a week. We never let them play past 7:30 - shouldn't be a problem, right? One would think. They have been practicing for a pretty good amount of time and never once have we had a problem. Until today. It seems that my neighbor (who has been a complete asshole since we moved in almost two years ago) dislikes their flavor of music. He called the p.d and had an officer sent out to tell them to turn it down. Apparently they did turn it down as they were good to go for another two hours. Ahh, two more hours. I get a phone call from the officer who came out informing me that she had already been out once today and the she just recieved another complaint call. Lucky enough for me that I happen to know the officer who handled the calls and all is well. The kids are done for the day anyway. After all, they practiced for 5 hours. /insert cheesy grin/

When I started this blog I was in a very dark state of mind. If it could go wrong it did, a couple of times it seems. Things are better now and my mood has improved. (the hubby would probably say otherwise :D )
Our niece had her first baby Wednesday - a beautiful girl. Our daughters are going to a school dance Friday. The second for my oldest and the first for my middle daughter. Needless to say things seem pretty hectic right now. It doesnt help when the cleaners quotes you one price only to find out that it's actually three times that. Yeah, I could have thrown a fit and got away with paying the first price, but what good would it have done? To me it wasnt worth getting all pissy about, although I did let them know that I wasn't pleased.
Hopefully sometime in the next month I will be switching to the day shift at work, something that I have wanted since I started working there. I hate not being able to spend time with the family in the evenings. If the shift change falls through I will be giving my notice and looking for employment elsewhere. *sigh*
I think that's it for now. Im sure I will have more to say later. Sometimes I never shut up. ;-)

If it seems as though my blog'n is taking forever, that's because it is. Don't rush me. Of the many reasons for my doing this, one is to relax and reflect. Sometimes I do that just staring at the screen, wondering if I should even attempt to put my thoughts down.
I have always been a private person. This whole "open up and share" thing has me confused. How much do I say here? Everything? A little? At any rate, there is no telling what you may see here, so don't be offended if my thoughts and beliefs are not the same as yours. They are what makes me ME.
With that said, look for many entries to be posted, perhaps providing anyone who reads a little insight as to what's really going on in my head.
